If you don't know there is a Walking Dead game that was just released on the 26th of April. It isn't like other zombie type games like Left 4 Dead. It's in the same genre as the Back To The Future games that came out last year & there Episodic like those games. There will be 5 episodes in all & they will be released about a month apart.

Just wondering if anyone else is playing this & if so what you thought about the 1st episode?

I really enjoyed the 1st episode you get really attached to your character & the little girl you are protecting. I really love the gameplay it reminds me a lot of the Monkey Island games & Back To The Future games which where awesome as well. I can't wait for the next episode.

I've heard good things about it. Not sure if I'll give it try or not yet.

The Xbox and PS3 versions are exactly the same. Just matters what systems you like firing up more.

I got mine on the PC. But I think it's available for 360,PS3, & Mac.

The first episode is about 2-3 hours. I got eaten once for not aiming at the zombie I was trying to kill. He straight up judo chopped me, and then grabbed some guts out of my stomach. Dying is pretty inconsequential though. It was just an instant do-over. Its pretty easy, so I hope the next episodes are more challenging.

I've met 2 characters from the comic so far. It's not exactly what I was hoping for, but these episodes coming out over the next four months should tide me over until season 3. It is an interesting story, and the art style is very true to the early comic art.

I just started this morning. it's not to bad.there were some glitches in my first conversation where I chose in the time allowed but it took another option.i agree the arts not too bad.

Ive played it once through and thought it was really interesting. I want to try to play again and make my character mean and cold to see how different the story is.

Finally Episode 2 is out downloading it right now!

Spoilers for episode 2:



It was great a little glitchy in some parts but that's to be expected on day 1. The story was very good the 1st 5mins almost made me throw up so freaking gruesome lol.

I thought it did a good job carrying over your choices in episode 1. & I called what those farmers where immediately. & when that a-hole got his head smashed in buy that salt block was insane.

& I thought at 1st that crazy woman was Clementine's mother but I really didn't understand the ending with the cam.

It was great & I can't wait for episode 3.

Am I wrong for thinking that I should just wait til all the parts are out and play it straight through?

Yes & no. It's a great game, so yes you're wrong. But each episode is 2, maybe 3 hours at most, so not really wrong.

This is silly but....I hadn't played episode 1 since I got it & I just wanted to brag that tonight for once I did better at a zombie game as a female then my male friend, who always says I'm gonna die immediately during the zombie apocalypse due to my poor performances in Call of Duty Zombies lol.
